It arborizes ipsilaterally in the superior protocerebrum (Cachero et al., 2010). There are approximately 25 of these cells per hemisphere (Cachero et al., 2010). Cachero et al. (2010) map Yu et al. (2010) - FBrf0211884 aSP12 to aSP-j, but Yu et al. (2010) map aSP12 to aDT-d.
